Choose an affinity when summoning and change form while keeping your pet’s progress.
The Taoist’s Shinsu takes its form from the affinity of the talisman equipped when summoning begins. Moving a talisman in your inventory alone does not change the element.

Step by step
- Prepare the summon. Check that you can use Summon Shinsu and have enough of the appropriate talisman. Respect your character’s pet limit.
- Equip the elemental talisman. Equip it before casting. The system takes that affinity when the summon begins, so changing it during the brief delay does not redefine the command.
- Summon and check the form. Use Summon Shinsu. Its appearance matches the affinity captured from the talisman, under the pet’s rules.
- Summon again to change form. For another form, equip its talisman and summon again. Changing only the talisman does not transform a Shinsu already in the world.

What is kept when changing form
Summoning again preserves your pet’s level, experience and state. Health is adjusted proportionally: transforming an injured Shinsu does not summon a fully healed replacement.
Forms are not extra pets that bypass the summon limit. Their elemental appearance does not replace the Shinsu’s own progression and combat rules.
If the expected form does not appear
To report a bug, state the talisman, the form you received and whether it was an initial summon or a change to an existing pet.
- Check which talisman was equipped when the skill began.
- Verify that its affinity is valid and that you had enough units.
- If you only changed equipment, summon again.
- Check the pet limit and the skill’s message.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing talismans automatically transform the pet?
No. The change is applied through a new summon with the appropriate talisman.
Does it lose levels when changing element?

Can changing form heal it completely?
